For Universities

Shape the methodology. Lead the research agenda.

The Lab is designed to be hosted by, or partnered with, a Scottish university. Research questions, instruments, consent and analysis are configurable and versioned — that design work needs academic leadership before any live research.

Ways to collaborate.

01
Academic host / PI leadership

Lead or co-lead methodology, ethics, data governance and academic analysis and outputs.

02
Individual researcher involvement

Contribute to specific workstreams: productivity, workforce, economics, responsible AI or sector expertise.

03
Student research packages

Defined, supervised work packages — with no unrestricted access to participant data by default.

04
Methodology & ethics review

Help shape research questions, instruments, consent and analysis before any live research.

What independence means here.

Funders and technology supporters do not influence methodology, selection, analysis or findings. Research outputs are governed by the academic protocol; the Lab operates the platform, not the conclusions.
